Ginny Gassman of Tidy Cove

A little over a year ago I left my job of 24 years and launched, Tidy Cove, my professional organizing business. On top of this huge change in my career, my husband and I decided to fulfill our longtime goal of moving up to Moultonborough fulltime. I knew it would be a challenge. I needed the support of friends, mentoring for my business and - especially- client referrals for my organizing services.

I started by posting business cards at local establishments, not exactly sure what I would do next. Then Leslie contacted me. It seems inevitable now that she would be there when I needed her. So much has gone right for me in the last year because Leslie reached out to me that day.

Many of the women I’ve met through WIW are on similar journeys to mine. Some are longtime leaders in the community. The culture of the group is to be informative, generous and to have fun. WIW was my welcome wagon, Leslie and others in the group are my sounding board.

A year later I’m well on my way to establishing a social and business network that is richer and deeper than I ever could have expected. Thank you to Leslie Sturgeon and Women Inspiring Women for my terrific year and congratulations to you on yours!

Claire Moorhead of Creative Promotions Network:

I have to share with you what a tremendous support your new organization has been to me. In this “life transition” phase I have been going through for a few years now, I really needed something new. I needed new faces, new friends, a new support system and most of all understanding. So much of what I had been doing, and people I had been dealing with was ‘damaged’ in the fallout of job and family struggles. It is so hard to move on and make change. I have personally been struggling for quite some time – and still do – but it is getting better.

Having the resources and seeing the strength in Women Inspiring Women has meant a great deal to me. It shows me that things can change – you’re never too old to change what you want to be when you grow up – and best of all – I’m not alone.

Thank you. Simply, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know it will get better, and I know it will be a rough road, but it sure is nice to have some friends along the way!

I think WIW has got to be one of the best organizations I have had the pleasure to be involved with. You make everyone feel good about themselves and you are the catalyst for bringing all these wonderful women together to help each other, whether it is for personal or professional reasons. You are doing an awesome job!
